Rocked these today.
Actually I am lying my ass off, I did these like a month ago. But shit got hectic in my life so my"Internet Balling" had to be put on pause.
These are the Reebok X Solebox E.R.S. 2000 "Cirtus"
Everyone who is a sneakerhead know about www.solebox.com I need not go into further detail about them. And don't ask me to cuz I am lazy and trying to rush this so I can get some
I am chunky and have to keep my blood sugar level up.
Anyways. I picked these up when they dropped around January 2009 or some time around then. I was stocked that they were going to be scented like oranges in the removable insoles. They were also supposed to come with an air freshner, but those douchers never gave me one. I hope Hikmet trips over himself while eating a salad and stabs himself in the eye for jipping me(J/K). When I got them I was sort of disappointed at how bland they looked. I put them on with some shorts and I seriously felt like one of them old fucks you see in the mall with a polo on, tucked into their cargo shorts with knee high socks wandering around lost as hell looking for the old peoples sitting section. But I gave them another chance( they were about to be put on www.solecollector.com.) I rocked them with some jeans and they went really together.
The shoe itself is a combo of a suede upper with a mesh toebox. The heel is wrapped in a clear capping with the Solebox logo stamped into it. The sole is a mixture of clear part with glitter( It reminds of those ugly ass jellie shoes girls used to wear when I was in elementary school) and a sherbert orange. The shoes came with two sets of orange scented insoles, which lost their gimmicky smell in like two weeks. It also came with some extra laces, grey and orange.
Overall I was not impressed with this collaboration that Solebox did. They usually put out some fucking heat, but I figure even A.ROD strikes out every once in a while so all is forgiven. Don't get me wrong these are comfortable as hell, but if I am going to pay Euro prices I would have liked something with a little more effort out into it.
Anybody else get hyped over a sneaker and when you finally got it you were fucking supremely disappointed? Let me know in the comment section.

Top 5 sneakers that I tried my ass off to get, but fucking couldn't.
Number 5
The Bodega X Converse Poormans Weapon.
This has been the best design on the converse model I have ever seen. I was in Afghanistan at the time so I had my moms on the phone while having her ass on the computer. She got my size, put it in the cart and waited. As every sneakerhead knows with online only releases YOU NEVER REFRESH FUCKING EVER. Gotta love moms though she was only trying to do right by me. So these slipped through my fingers.
Number 4
Bodega X Lacoste Esteban
Another awesome drop from the masters of Boston. I like Lacoste, mostly Missouri 85 and the Esteban. I feel like a grown ass man wearing Lacoste, and I feel kicking every hipster wearing neon sunglasses at night right in the fucking nose when I sport 'em. Once again I was in Afghanistan when these dropped, chilling in the computer lab. With a 15 minute time limit I had to plan my sign up perfectly. And I did. Once again as I added to the cart BLAM!!! Fucking Mortar lands on the F.O.B. Loudspeaker comes on saying everyone get in the bunkers. Needless to say my ass was staying until I got these fucking shoes. As luck would have it big wigs come in and literally throw me into the bunkers. FUCKING DEPLOYMENTS.

Nike X Kanye West "Air Yeezy"
The hype around these at the time was scary. I was in Iraq at the time when they dropped and I was expecting to hear stories about people getting shot over these bitches like JAYS in the nineties. I tried calling Majors and Wish from Iraq, but guess what? Those motherfuckers wouldn't take my calls. I was so pissed at the time I took it out on a plastic chair in my room. Which backfired right in my face.....literally, when I smashed the chair it exploded and splintered in my face. Salt to the wound man, salt to the wound.

Nike KD II All Stars
Once again a shoe that I like a lot. I respect KD for making sure Nike would keep his signature shoe under 100 bucks. I didn't like his first shoe nor do I like his current model( It bothers me that his fourth sig pair is already leaked.) Nike doesn't show his model much love, but these kicks were sick to me. That woodgrain with the clear sole and solid strap were a solid combo. I missed out on these on Nike.com, but I found them on Osneaker.com(which is way to overpriced) the next day. As soon as I went to pay for them, I noticed my credit card was expired. I called my bank as fast as I could to get a new car, it arrived two weeks to late. BIIIIITCH.

I am still pissed about these. I am nowhere near a decent sneaker boutique when it comes to Quickstrikes or Tier Zeros. I found them on rmkstore.com and kixfiles.com, now normally I don't pay those bullshit hypebeast prices unless it is something I absolutely can not get my hands on. I am not accustomed to the hypebeast shit most people deal with, I like what I like PERIOD, but with this shoe it became a race against those fucking pretentious fucks. And I lost. To this day I regret missing out on this shoes, but I can not bring myself to pay over retail on them shits.

Infrared Air Max 90 Current.
I picked these up a year after they released. I slept on them until i read the best of on http://www.sneakerfreaker.com/. After reading up on them I decided to pick up a pair. I am glad I did. I am a huge Air Max 90 fan, but they have gotten pretty stale the last five years in my opinion. So I was glad when these came. The worst part about AM 90's is when they put anything else besides mesh on the toe. They crease so fucking bad! I understand when you design a shoe that has been in existence since 1992( you can correct me if I am wrong, I don't do fact checks that often.) that asthetics for the eye are most importan aspect of desiging a colorway. No matter how nice the leather on the toebox it will eventually look like smashed doo-doo.
That leads me to the best part about the current. The FREE sole and mesh upper. These shoe are so comftorable with the FREE sole, I have worn these for 12 hour straight once and my feet did not hurt once. During the summer I break these bad boys out often. The mesh on them is perfect. I didn't have any problems with my feet sweating, and I could actually feel the breeze running through my shoes.
I think the Currents have a more aerodynamic look to them, which for me is very appealing. I am not a huge fan of chunky looking shoes. You can rock these with shorts or jeans without worrying about them looking out of place on your feet. Sadly after it's very short run in the beginning of its debut the Current has not been shown much love from Nike. Nike is like Fox, they finally get something right( Arrested Development) and since it does not have a huge following it gets abandoned. If they ever release new colorways for the Current I will be picking a pair up.

Try something new.
I am tired of seeing the same boring ass Nikes and Jordans on peoples feet. My favorite brand of all time is JB Classics. It consist of JB and MDOT. MDOT has seen the absence of quality and appeal to ladies footwear in the market. She has taken it into her own hands. BOOJI is the results of her hardwork. I will say this is the finest ladies sneakers that I have ever seen PERIOD. The materials are always of high quality and you tell each pair of shoes is designed with almost a story behind it. Do me a favor and yourself. Take a break from the run of the mill shit that is out there and get yourself or your lady a pair of these. I did and my old lady loves them. Big Ups to MDOT for keeping the sneaker game on point.

Ok, so i am tired of this shit. This fucking commercials irks the hell out of me. I can not stand auto tune anymore ANYMORE. If I could go back in time I would fucking murder Peter Frampton and T Pain in their faces with a rusty spoon I pulled from a dead clowns skull. FUCKING CHARLES BARKLEY. I am so fucking tired of seeing his ass fat then semi skinny, he is like the male version of Oprah. Pick a fucking weight guy. Is it just me or does he always sound like he is got a lump of fucking ice cream in his throat? Finally what pisses me off the most about this commercial is T-Mobile. Fuck that cell service. The only phone that was good was the sidekick and that shit is gone. The rest of their phones are cheap ass Android puppets. How the fuck are you going to charge 90 dollars a month for a 1000 minutes and limited text? Fuck that. I hope T-Mobile gets swallowed up by Verizon and forces all those fucking stingy assholes into customer service, so I can call and verbally assualt them to the point that I get a restaining order from a Federal Judge. No more once a day shots for now.
Yep, it's been a while since I last posted, but due to my current occupation it is going to be like this for a little longer. I am getting ready to move to Korea. This means almost all my shit is packed and on a boat. And I am super fucking busy running around all of Savannah.

For now I am rotating through a very short list of shoes. Nice, but short.
Here is one of the five pairs I will be rocking for about four more weeks.
The New BalanceXBurn Rubber MT580. So first about the boutique. Located in the Motor City, this is there first collaboration with any shoe company. I am glad that it was with New Balance. I firmly believe NB puts out quality products and does not over saturate the market with hyped " limited editions". There has been some issues with the store and how they handled the drop. Some of their local customers have said that they gave away a lot of their first shipment to friends and families. Leaving the public with very few to purchase. For me that is a no brainer. If you had the chance to do something epic like that, wouldn't you hook up the people you love first. I personally feel like the true sneakerheads were pissed that hypebeast got their hands on the shoes and tripled the mark up. To be honest if this wasn't a MT580, a first time collaboration and sneakernews.com didn't put the news of it on its site. It wouldn't have been as large of a drop as it was made out to be. BUT this is also what made it so special. Plus they did a fucking awesome job on the shoes.
The MT580 is normally a shoe used in the Japanese collaboration. God knows Mita has used it so many times that I am sure that their collabs are now boring to Japan. This colorway of the shoe ( Burn Rubber) has completely smashed all other competition. The fact that gray is primarily the only color on the shoe and it still looks awesome is an attestment to the thought Burn Rubber put into the materials of the shoe. The side wall and toe is a buttery gray suede. The toebox is tightly netted mesh that is very breathable. The shoes also have large amount of 3M, but it looks well put on the shoe; it's located on the heel and sidewalls and around the edges of the N logo. Argly laces and inner shoe grace these beauties as well. The colors of the argyle are of Burn Rubbers store. The argyle on the laces are stitched and not screen printed, meaning that with time it wil not rub off or peel.The shoes also came with the Burn Rubber mascot hangtag, but i don't wear them shits cuz they look stupid.
When the shoes first dropped I had no cash, so I missed out. I got lucky though about a week and a half ago. I was hitting up http://www.hanon-shop.com/ and BOOM their they were. I knew getting them from Europe I would pay extra, but hell when you see gold TAKE IT! For some strange reason when I purchased them, I recieved a huge disount. On the final cash out I paid exactly retail price in America. Talk about lucky.
Also for anyone wondering I don't do videos on my shoes. Yes it would be a lot easier, but I like words because I don't have to pause or rewind them. I like to use pictures for the same reason, plus I can look as long as I want.
